Bob Minner – Tim McGraw Band

Bob Minner has played guitar almost his entire life, starting at age 5. Growing up in Missouri, he won numerous guitar, banjo, and fiddle contests, and was a two-time 3rd place winner at the prestigious Winfield National Flatpicking Championships (1986-87). For the past 18 years, he has served as the acoustic guitarist for country superstar Tim McGraw. In addition, he has played on numerous # 1 hits by McGraw, including the mega-smash "Live Like You Were Dying". Yet with all of that success in the country genre, Bob continues to pursue his love of bluegrass and flatpick guitar. "It's a passion and genre I am continuously drawn to, not only in the traditional sense, but in also finding new ways and textures to expand what the term "flatpick guitar" actually is".

Hear what Bob has to say about his Bourgeois in this January 2014 issue of the UK's Acoustic magazine.

As for playing / endorsing Bourgeois guitars, Bob has this to say:

"I have looked my entire life for the perfect acoustic that can bridge the spectrum of what I do, not only with Tim McGraw but also flatpicking and any other genre or style I embark upon. I have played them all. Dana's guitars are simply the best for any application. Their tone, finish, setup, and craftsmanship are simply world class in every regard. These are the guitars I have dreamed of all of my life".

Bob's current arsenal of Bourgeois guitars includes a 1997 Vintage OM, Country Boy Deluxe Dreadnaught, a Banjo Killer Slope D, an Aged Tone 00, and the first Aged Tone Series Mahogany DS.
